Thank you so much for your comment, Michelle. It is indeed horrific and many people ignore this takes place, so my aim is to inform people, so they can take action if they wish to. Even spreading the word helps. It is painful to read this and to see the photos, and my sleep has been disrupted ever since I interviewed Dena a few days ago. It’s hard to believe how people can be so cruel to innocent animals.

This is so disturbing to read about, I did not realize the enormous extent of this problem. Thank you for writing such a comprehensive account of this horrific practice. I hope we can work together to achieve a stop to this cruelty asap.
