I have hundreds of books and one day a couple of weeks ago I reached into the bookcase and out came Julia’s book. It was just what I needed. I could not put it down. It is a magical, inspirational little book with huge content. It may have saved my life. Many books claim to be life changing, and although worthwhile, most do not seem to be, at least for me. I am so thankful for this book and the wide margins and thick paper so I could make notes and drawings as I went along. Finally, people who are not “artists” in some capacity should not feel it inappropriate for them, or inapplicable to their lives. Nothing could be further from the truth. Personally, I feel we are all artists if our true selves were to emerge. If that were to happen imagine what the world might be like. Everyone should read this book. If I were a teacher, professor, psychologist I would ask my students/clients to work through it, I would base discussions and artistic explorations on it, and ask that they journal about it. Thank you Julia for sharing your gift with us all.
